Intramurals!

Happy Monday, everyone! Andrea again, here to highlight one of the best parts of Bluffton University...our year-long intramural program. To all those students (like me) who enjoy sports, but aren't able/willing to devote the time to a season-long on campus sport, intramurals may be for you! At Bluffton, each semester brings around the opportunity to participate in a lower-key version of the sports you enjoy playing, like flag football, softball, sand volleyball, indoor soccer, basketball and others. Most students who get involved recruit a group of friends and sign up, playing several times a week on a rotating basis. The winners of the University play-offs each receive a T-shirt and some serious respect! Below you'll see a few of our past champions. As you can tell, winning is a thrill!
A note: To those of you Ultimate Frisbee fans, this is a year-round sport at Bluffton, and is a ton of fun to be a part of. You'll regularly see students, as well as faculty and staff members running around the "Ultimate Field" and having a great time. We hope to see YOU on the field at Bluffton soon! :)

  2. Ah intramurals - what great times! Never was crowned a champion, but had a great time playing and cheering on "our guys." Especially when the Bren-Dell intramural softball team picked up a couple guys from Hirschy and entered local weekend tournaments. Now that was a good time!
