'tis the season to visit!

I just realized Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK. That's crazy! It's been so busy here in the admissions office that we haven't had much time to consider what day it is, but the holidays are fast approaching nonetheless. For you high school seniors, this means it's a great time to assess the progress you've made with your college search. Hopefully you've had a chance to visit at least a few of the campuses you are interested in, and have sent in applications if you plan to continue looking at them.
I really can't say enough how important the campus visit is to your search. A brochure can tell you about the programs a college offers, how many students attend and the foundational aspects of who they are as an institution, but you won't be able to experience the atmosphere, people or community itself until you are there! So...this is call to everyone looking at Bluffton who hasn't visited: I know the fall is a busy time of year, but I hope you'll be able to schedule a visit soon! We've got a great campus and some fantastic people who would love to meet you and show you around. Our admissions office can schedule a visit for you any weekday from 8-5, and we also offer a Saturday visit every week. Scheduling can be done online here or by calling our office at (419)358-3257. For those of you who live quite a ways away and are worried about the costs of visiting, we offer several options with our Fly/Drive visit program: check out the details here.
Remember to keep looking ahead and staying positive about your college search...there is a lot to learn and the right learning community is waiting for you. It may be just a visit away!
