1st snow!

Greetings, everyone! The week is off to a wonderful start, as Bluffton awoke to it's first snowfall of the year this morning. I couldn't help listening to my favorite Christmas carols on the iPod as I walked to work in my stocking cap, mittens and gloves. It won't be long before snow is a regular occurance here, but for now it's still a special treat, and gives the Bluffton campus an extra wash of beauty. Yesterday afternoon, members of the Bluffton community (students, faculty, staff and local community members) performed Handel's Messiah in Founder's Hall. We are now gearing up for a handful of great holiday events as the semester winds down and Christmas approaches. Our All Campus Christmas Dinner is set for this Thursday, followed by our Christmas Choral Concert on Sunday the 13th. We'll host a Christmas Candle Lighting Service on Monday the 14th, the Moscow Boy's Choir in concert on the 15th, and several other fun activities to help students study and succeed during finals week.
The admissions office will be busy this week with visits, and it's not too late to schedule yours if you want to take a closer look at our campus under the beauty of a winter snow. Feel free to visit our website here and reserve a time for you and your parents to come and have your own Bluffton experience.
I hope you can take some time to savor this season amidst the busy atmosphere of schoolwork, holiday preparation and a variety of last-minute activities. Let us quiet our minds and remember that Christmas is a celebration of our Lord's birth, and His Promise of Love and Hope to all.
-Andrea
