2010!

Happy 2010, everybody! This is my first day back to work after a 2.5 week vacation back my home state of Idaho (see below)

I had a wonderful time hanging out with family, old and new friends and my dogs:) It's hard to believe another year has passed, but I am happy welcome a new season of changes and lots of fun things to come! I hope you are also getting excited about what's in store for you as your final year in high school continues and the "light at the end of the tunnel" grows brighter.
Let me just take this opportunity to remind all you seniors (and parents) that any questions you may have about your college search can be directed to any of the admissions offices you are working with. That's what we're here for!
Now is the perfect time to begin thinking about filling out your FAFSA online to get the ball rolling on financial aid award letters. Guidance offices often have lots of useful information regarding the process and tips for completing this form quickly and completely. Of course, we at the college level can help, too. Just let us know!
Bluffton University sends our first wave of award letters out on March 1st, so getting your FAFSA completed before the end of February will ensure you get a complete list of your grants and scholarships from us as soon as possible.
And, if you are still waiting to visit each campus you have applied to, now is definitely the time to schedule a date and time for each! We are holding a special For Seniors Only overnight visit February 4-5, and you can register here on our website to get an up-close and personal look at the Bluffton community. We also set up personal visits for every student who is able to come up on a weekday. We can provide a school excuse form if needed.
Well, that's the big news from here for now! Students begin arriving back on campus this weekend, and classes resume Monday, January 11. I'll be back with updates on events to come, and I hope to see you on campus soon!
-Andrea
