Tuition Gift Celebration Day

If you are in the process of filling out your FAFSA, are getting ready to do so soon or have memories of completing it in the past, you are familiar with the important role money plays in the college search process. Bluffton is always working to make our university affordable to students who find a fit here, and today is our annual celebration of those who help us do so. It is because of the gift contributions from alumni, parents, faculty/staff, trustees, corporations, organizations and friends that quality education at Bluffton is accessible to our students. Tuition Gift Celebration Day honors these donors for investing in the education of all our amazing young men and women. Today, our students will participate in the tradition of signing a banner of thanks that will be displayed during our graduation weekend festivities. I remember signing this banner as a Bluffton student, and seeing all the other names of students next to mine whose education was being funded in large part by the generosity of people who were once in our shoes, and believed in our potential.
The Bluffton community is a unique, interwoven web of connections, tradition and support. Today's focus is just one of the many ways the past, present and future of our university cross paths and enrich who we are.
